Little Trethvas is a small and friendly site situated on the unique and unspoilt Lizard Peninsular, an ideal place from which to explore this wonderful corner of Cornwall.
Bell tent camping in Cornwall is certainly the most fashionable way to enjoy a holiday on the south west coast. Our bells really are beautiful, and each one is equipped with everything that you could possibly need for a comfortable holiday.
Each bell tent is furnished with a double bed, bedside tables, a full size futon to sleep two more, a chest of drawers, and storage baskets for all of your bits and bobs. There is also a wood-burning stove that will keep you feeling warm and cosy on those chilly nights.
All of our bell tents are decorated with pretty rugs, quirky cushions and gorgeous throws. The bedding and duvets are incredibly comfortable; they are made with feather and down, as are the pillows, but we do have alternatives if requested. All will be ready for you after your journey to Cornwall!
Alongside your tent you will also have a cream gazebo which houses your outside kitchen, table and 4 chairs; whether you’re staying with family or friends, you can enjoy an outdoor dining experience with the gorgeous landscape of the Lizard Peninsula surrounding you.
Camping can be hungry work, so don’t worry, all cutlery, crockery, storage containers and utensils are supplied for you, so that you don’t have to drag the kitchen sink with you on your trip (unless you really want to!). We also supply a camp cooker and BBQ, plus we will make sure that there is enough wood for your first fire in the stove. If you run out, more is available locally.

Loved our stay , perfect location for the Lizard and all it has to offer. Really enjoyed staying in the glamping tent . Everything we needed and a lovely friendly site.

We loved it. Mike and Liz are so friendly and it is a great site. Very clean as well. We came last year and wanted to come back, which we did and we had a great time. It is also a very family friendly site with guinea pigs and chickens. The site is very close to some... We loved it. Mike and Liz are so friendly and it is a great site. Very clean as well. The site is very close to some lovely beaches and cliff top walks. We would definitely recommend it.

Our holiday was a family stay, occupying 3 units all together, our grandchildren loved the chick cuddling, the showers are excellent and have a child size shower head in addition to the adult version, while we were there we found that other campers respected noise... Our holiday was a family stay, occupying 3 units all together, our grandchildren loved the chick cuddling, the showers are excellent and have a child size shower head in addition to the adult version, while we were there we found that other campers respected noise pollution and there were no late night dissterbances, there is 2 fields to camp on with a mixture of tents and caravans, The lizard is beautiful and wild and is good for doing costal walks , some of the beaches are good for bathing and rockpool fishing, the biggest majority are not dog friendly so do check before going, its a good place to stay if you like being on a busy site, great for the kids but not if you are used to C.L sites, its in a good location and the site also offfers alternative accomodation.

The site was very well situated for going round exploring Cornwall. It was lovely to see little chicks and a baby turkey running around. Mike and Liz were extremely helpful and worked very hard to make sure that the site was kept in top condition. We would definitely... We stayed in a tent for 4 nights and the weather was horrible but the tent kept us dry warm and comfortable. Very friendly staff and very close to beaches and takeaway. A shop on site would be brilliant.

Overall are good, toilet provided sanitiser spray and clean. But the toilet located slightly far away from the campsite and near the building which is inconvenient. Staff are very good and I feel welcome.
