The private kitchen and family area was great. And luxury kennel for the dog would be a great asset. Only downside was that the yurt seemed to be the furthest from the shower block. Not a great distance, but for the price paid nearer would be good. From what I could see a new shower block is being constructed right next door to the yurts, etc. Also, only one of the futons was in the yurt. But, another one was provided quickly on request. Only minor points. Overall a great place

The facilities look very new and were always clean. A few more hooks in the shower cubicles would be useful. The piped music in the shower blocks can't be heard well and I personally would prefer not to have it. We loved the fact that you could hire chickens which laid eggs, also fire pits and logs. A lovely site. We enjoyed our stay.

Miss K Ricketts - Stayed with family, Aug 2018

Stayed in the yurt on a rainy weekend but didn't ruin our stay as it was perfect! Comfy bed, clean, modern wash facilities and a playground and tractor ride/feeding animals for my daughter to enjoy. Would have been nice to be given some sort of map/list of activities... Stayed in the yurt on a rainy weekend but didn't ruin our stay as it was perfect! Comfy bed, clean, modern wash facilities and a playground and tractor ride/feeding animals for my daughter to enjoy. Would have been nice to be given some sort of map/list of activities when we signed in as she missed it the first night as we weren't told about it. Staff quick to help when we had an issue with our lighting outside the yurt and a couple bits missing from kitchenette. All sorted promptly. Will be returning soon.
