Our gorgeous, rustic style shepherd hut is the perfect place for a glamping getaway for two, or a hideaway for solo guests!
We call our lovely hut Gwdihw, which is Welsh for owl (say ‘good-e-hoo’). And, like any good owl, you’ll find her perched up in the woods, providing a secluded setting for your woodland stay.
With a proper bed, lovely bedding, blankets, and a wood-burning stove to keep you toasty, you’ll be sure to enjoy your stay in our Gwdihw hut.
Inside there’s everything you need with a comfy double bed, seating, and woodburning stove. Outside there’s a covered and well-equipped kitchen, plus a fire pit and seating on your own deck, for some alfresco dining and relaxing.
Plus you have your own compost loo as well as access to our well-kept site toilets and showers.
It's a real home away from home, so all you need to bring is food & drink, and then simply kick back and relax.
There’s no electricity in the Gwdihw so you can truly switch off. There's lighting and USB charging points if needed. And with the constant twitter of birds, the hooting (or is that gwdihw-ing?) owls at night, the trickle of the stream, and the rustling of the trees, it’s the perfect place to escape a busy daily life!
You'll find our cosy Gwdihw Hut at Nyth Robin near Aberdyfi, on the west Wales coast. Nyth Robin is a small site with lots of space for our glamping and camping guests. We've our own woodlands to explore and there's an onsite pizza oven which we fire up on busy Saturday nights.
Aberdyfi/ Aberdovey is at the southern end of Snowdonia National Park and is a popular fishing village with a fabulous sandy beach. There's a pubs, cafes, good restaurants, fish and shops and local ice cream - so plenty of refreshments to choose from!
