There are lovely walks nearby but most highlights are a drive - there is a wealth of local information available at the site. The kids loved exploring the wooded area and building dens. I'd definetly recommend for anyone who values natural beauty and can make thier own fun. The lady who runs it couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Total gem of a place.

I was there for a mtb race and it provided us with a quiet place to retreat to between practice and race. The facility's were all top notch for this kind of accommodation (we stayed in a bothie) I would say I noticed two negatives that did not effect us. The bothies do not have disabled access although the rest of the facilities did. If you have children of any age take all of your own entertainment as there is nothing on site. It's all very clean and modern looking so we were pleased with what we found on the whole.

It totally exceeded expectations. Beautiful site, pictures on the website don't do it justice. Also, the website didn't mention that the Bothies have a microwave, and it was unique in that kind of accommodation that it had a curtain to create a separate room and had high quality fittings, including opening windows with midge screens and very well insulated. Also, the website could mention that there's a communal inside and outside washing up area with tea/coffee/spare utensils - these were really helpful additions.

"Wonderful"

Mr P Tinkler - Stayed with partner, Sep 2017

We arrived very late during torrential rain. Annie offered us the use of one of a bothy which we gladly accepted. Clean and tidy it made for a wonderful stay. We will return next year!

The toilets need to be heated, and more lights between the Bothies and toilets. But this want put me off booking next year. This was my second time on this site.
