Inside Forget Me Not, the mini-kitchen has a two-ring electric hob, sink, fridge (with freezer compartment), combination microwave, toaster, whistling kettle and cupboard. All crockery and cooking utensils are provided. There is a table with two chairs and a single wardrobe for clothes/storage, as well as a double bed with large storage drawer, bedside units, a panel heater and free Wi fi. A tea tray and marshmallows for toasting are provided on your arrival.

Next to the hut, Forget Me Not’s guests have exclusive use of a luxurious shower room. A boiler provides hot water for the shower and wash basin. There is a flushing toilet, heated towel rail, a wall-mounted fan heater, hairdryer, and plenty of space to hang beach towels.

The large garden area 30m x 20m is hedged for privacy and well stocked with plants including succulents, yuccas and hydrangeas. The garden provides ample space to park your car and enjoy the BBQ or make use of the firepit. Logs and charcoal are provided to get you started along with outdoor furniture. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunsets. Next door but separated by a hedge is Mr Blue Sky our other Shepherd hut. For those of you who love plants, there is a cabin on site stocked with plants for sale, as well as fresh eggs, a book swap and tourist information.

The site is ideally located for enjoying the very best that West Cornwall has to offer. Praa Sands with a mile of sandy beach, pub/ café’s is a 20-minute walk away. The Coach and Horses pub is a 15-minute walk. The quaint harbour town of Porthleven and St Michaels Mount are a 7-minute drive, while the north- coast including St Ives, Carbis Bay is a 20-minute drive. Lands’ End, Porthcurno (home to the famous Minnack Theatre) and the Lizard are all within a half hour’s drive. A day trip to The Eden Project, Lost Garden of Heligan or the Scilly Isles are all possible. The Southwest Coastal path provides spectacular views for walkers. The bus stop is a 7-minute walk. Equally with the fabulous sea views and well-appointed Mr Blue Sky, you may prefer to chill and enjoy your glamping experience without going anywhere.
