I chose this campsite as it was central to the places we had booked to see. I booked a grass pitch with hook up originally. After an accident I had to change the booking ot the Pod and I was not disappointed. We have a wonderful 4 days, fire pit two nights, barbecued, had the bacon butties on offer as well as some chips one night. We did not try the pizza van on the saturday. Made friends with the goats and chickens the other side of the hedge. The facilities were the best we have used on any campsite. Extremely clean and looked after. Perfect. If you want the only fault I found - a broken slab! that's it. Wehad no children and there were no activities on sight to comment on. I will be coming back next year as we want to kayak down the river wye.

Only real issue we had was with the showers . Not very powerful and did keep going cold. Also maybe another hair dryer or electric socket in ladies wash room. only one hairdryer could prove problematic when visiting in high season.

There was a big field for the children..maybe more play equipment is coming? All in all a very relaxing and pleasant experience.

Arrived on a Thursday, lovely and peaceful only five outfits on site, by Saturday afternoon the site was almost full. Although daytime was busy, nice and quiet in the night. Service didn’t suffer, great breakfast rolls and great evening takeaways. By Monday the site was almost empty again, lovely and peaceful. Full marks to the staff who are the most helpful I have found at a site in the sixteen years I have been caravanning.

Great site with fantastic customer service. One small suggestion for the glamping pod. It may need a vent at the front to permit a throughdraft of air. We were absolutely delighted with our stay

Booked for three families and this has to be the best camp site we’ve been so far. Very family oriented, helpful and something that sets a benchmark for other campsites. Their story of how they developed the site shows they’ve done their homework. We had first time campers too, pregnant lady, children etc. Can’t beat it so now I’m going to look at the top 100 and see how they compare. This campsite is within the top 100. Glad we chose this site and we would return again!
