The Ceridwen Centre is in an area that’s known as the Teifi Valley which is one of Wales’ best kept secrets; visitors to our glampsite here will discover here a land of ancient language and traditions, of legends and kings, with lush countryside and rugged hills steeped in history, bustling market towns and country villages built beside the Teifi.

The Afon Teifi is the longest river which flows entirely within Wales, starting as a trickle in desolate mossy moorlands and entering Cardigan Bay seventy-five glorious miles later.

For the adventurous, there are outdoor pursuits to follow. For others a relaxing stroll by the water or taking in the stunning views may be enough to make their perfect holiday in South Wales.

Excellent local produce – from sea, river and land – can be sampled in the area’s hostelries and restaurants. You’ll find a wide range of arts and crafts, galleries and studios throughout the valley and a warm welcome in one of the many and varied cottages, tipis, farmhouses, yurts, gypsy wagons or cabins available in the valley for glamping in Wales!

Glamp it up in one of our bentwood middle eastern inspired yurts, furnished with traditional rugs, cushions and blankets, copper-topped tables, wood-burning stove and proper beds, sleeping 2 adults and 1 or 2 small children. Three of the four 16ft yurts Damson, Wild Garlic and Affallon sit on wooden platforms in the old orchard garden and cast views over the valley and towards the village. Each is quite separate and has an outdoor decking area with table and chairs for al fresco dining. Wild flowers pop up in and around the garden and hedgerows, providing a foragers bounty.

Cooking facilities for these three Yurts are shared in the summer house, with a hob and cooker, all cooking equipment, sink and small fridge. A large BBQ is shared between the guests in an outdoor BBQ area situated behind the summer house. Each yurt has a private compost toilet nearby and there is a sink and wash hand basin in the summerhouse.

The fourth 16ft yurt Derwen and the 18ft Yurt Bryn Helyg are located on the other side of the road near overlooking the valley on the other side. Both have their own compost toilets, small cooking areas and barbeque facilities

Come to stay as a couple or small family or take advantage of the privacy and extra accommodation it provides when hiring Ceridwen or the Byre.
