The lodge itself felt quite tired and there was the smell of drains in both bathrooms, the shower in the main bathroom was also leaking and not working well. The lodge was fairly clean on arrival, however the waterproof mats provided in the bathrooms were dirty, which put us off using them. The surroundings and the grounds themselves were beautiful and the massages we booked were amazing. The hot tub was also great, when the peacocks allowed us to use it! There’s plenty of wildlife around and lots of walks. It seems as though some of the lodges / cottages are much better maintained than others, ours could definitely have done with an update. The WiFi was also really poor which meant we couldn’t use some of the facilities such as Netflix on the TV. Overall I felt the value for money wasn’t great, and probably wouldn’t stay here again. There also was no salt or pepper provided in the kitchen, which I assumed there would be, however this was probably an oversight on my part.

The park is fab with lots of walks for the dogs and on beautiful grounds, the lodges were lovely and very clean. My few improvements would be that the communication before arrival was really difficult, I tried calling and left voicemails on numerous occasions which none were responded too, I also emailed & it took a week each time to get a reply & I had paid for birthday celebrations balloons for £30 and 4 small balloons were tied to a bottle of Prosecco which if I’d of known I wouldn’t of paid for this as I don’t find it worth it’s money. I would definitely recommend the place & stay again but would think that the improvements would make any future stats better.

We stayed in a lodge with my parents-in-law to be ahead of our wedding at Gisburne next year, so they will have an idea of what to expect. We also took the opportunity to suss out the local amenities. We had a lovely stay, the lodge was very smart and spacious. It is well equipped with cooking equipment, but we were also very impressed by the onsite restaurant Hindelinis. All lodges look to be well sited, most with nice views and large private outdoor areas. The lodges are also well spaced, certainly not on top of one another. We saw a lot of deer and peacocks and there are some lovely walks around the site. We stayed in September when the pool is not in use for guests, so we didn’t get to try this out.We had such a lovely weekend, we’re hoping to do it all over again in spring!

Love this place and stayed 3x now. I do feel Lodge 14 (Darcy) could do with a little TLC. The window pain needs replacing in the living room looking out to the decking area as spoils your view when relaxing on the sofa. Also the gap under the patio doors let's it down. The en suite has a few damp patches and the skirting so little things like this would make it all look like new again. I don't understand why the owner doesn't look after the patio and furniture by treating the wood as all rotting which could of been prevented with some looking after, such a shame. The hot tub needs a good clean as didn't smell very nice so had to call maintenance but they are always on hand and come straight away which is excellent service. Thank you.

We stayed in lodge 14 which was really great with lovely views, only one thing that was a concern was that when in bed at night we heard tiny scurrowing in the roof above (mice we suspected ) although we didn’t see anything. But a really good stay

The lodge was no 14, rooms clean and spacious, as we had a disabled adult with us a walk in shower would have been a god send but we were aware of this issue as we have been in the lodge previously , the decking area could maybe do with a bit of tlc, one if the living room windows seal has failed , but on the whole we would still give 10 out of 10, we've booked again for Xmas 23 and have also recommended the park. All staff very attentive

First impressions of the site and lodge were great. Friendly welcome at reception and lodge was very clean. Lovely site with deer roaming nearby and peacocks. Our only issue was that the dishwasher was leaking before we’d used it and we reported the issue but no one turned up to fix it so we’re left with a rather wet floor around the sink area.Lodge was good for dogs as the decking area was secure. We enjoyed a pizza at the restaurant sitting outside. Took a trip to Stocks reservoir which was a good walk with the dogs and had options of different length walks. Overall a great stay and we will look to come back again in the future!

We had a lovely stay at Ribblesdale Park over easter weekend. The park was clean, tidy and quiet. The lodges are marketed as “luxury lodges” and whilst they were clean they were basic. Lights were missing bulbs in some of the rooms, no oven gloves provided and no bath robes despite having a hot tub. I did feel that £800+ for a three night stay was expensive for what we got.

Lovely surroundings and enjoyed eating at the restaurant a couple of times. Only disappointment was that the pool wasn’t opening till the following weekend even tho on the website it said open from April to September and we arrived on the 3rd April so we expected it to be open.

We've been coming to Ribblesdale for quite a few years now and enjoyed every one of them, the only issue we had was the lid for the hot tub didn't quite fit and due to strong winds whilst we were there it kept blowing off, we did make the office aware of the problem but it didn't spoil our break
