Went to open the window at the bed and it was full of cobwebs and the blinds full of dust. Though I can appreciate it is in the woods, cobwebs & dust of this degree and nature would not have been made overnight. There was an air fryer, fridge , separate freezer and a mini oven with hob, we were unable to use the hob because it was far to height to reach up to / see over a pan. I suspect there had been an oven in the lodge previously and this was a replacement. Perhaps not enough room to cook anything with more than a few ingredients we were lucky to have relatives staying in one of the 6 birth lodges so had space in those to do a better job. On a whole the site itself was lovely, very quite and isolated in the wilderness 4 miles to the nearest shop so don’t forget anything! The hot tub was great and used by me and my partner most days. Overall mainly satisfied with the accommodation and the site.

We had a lovely time in cygnet for our anniversary. The site was so peaceful, and my partner loved spending time at the lake, and caught many fish! The hot tub and fire pit were lovely editions. Would highly recommend

We stayed in cygnet lodge for the week and loved it, small but cosy, spotlessly clean and was fully equipped with everything we needed. It had its very own fishing peg on snake lake and was pulling out carp after carp my biggest being 8lb. The only negative thing i would say is that the lodge next to us had a direct view of our hot tub, and the garden wasn’t enclosed so had to keep an eye on the dog, but could easily be fixed with a fence or gate here and there, certainly didn’t spoil our break and will definitely be returning

Fantastic destination in a quiet location allowing for a very peaceful and relaxing week away. Beautiful grounds and well maintained. Accommodation well equipped, spotlessly clean and private from other guests with your own hot tub and fire pit. Helpful reception staff especially as stay was over hottest days of the year and although a fan was already supplied offered us another fan which was gratefully received. Dog friendly and lovely surrounding areas to excercise them. Close to Ely which has many places to eat and small village 5 minutes away with chip shop pubs and shop. Will definitely be returning .x

Offering a well equipped compact lodge that was comfortable and clean. The hot tub was a treat and added to our relaxation. We had never explored Ely, so it was an ideal location being less than 15 minutes away, and all the parking in Ely is free. There are lovely places to eat and browse and the market was very good too. On the Friday evening we went to a concert at the Maltings. Had it not been February with stormy winds & rain, we would have planned a nature walk too. The sink in the en-suite could have been larger, but the shower is double size.
