You like the idea of camping, but you don’t have the kit… and you’re not sure you’re really an ‘outdoorsy’ kind of person. Seeking a few creature comforts? Perhaps a little luxury? Glamping in the Cotswolds might be just for you!

Our Moroccan-themed glamping tents at Cotswold Farm Park offer a great introduction for those new to camping, or anyone who likes the idea of travelling light and letting someone else worry about breakfast for a change…

Our 6 new Glamping Tents can sleep up to 4 people each. Each glamping tent consisting of 1 king size bed as standard and 2 single mattresses as an optional extra. Please advise what combination of beds you require during the booking process. Fresh bedding is included, you just need to bring along your own towels.

The Glamping tents have lighting and electric points. A full-length mirror, clothes rail and privacy screen are also included.

There is a communal kitchen tent in the glamping area with crockery and cutlery, where a continental breakfast is available each morning. Each Glamping Tent has outdoor seating and a BBQ that will be yours to use for the duration of your stay – fresh meat is available from the Farm Park shop.

Our glampers also have access to the newly-renovated campsite washroom facilities.

Adam Henson of Countryfile's Cotswold Farm Park offers a unique Cotswold glamping experience to visit an infamous farm and enjoy a complete countryside experience as well as a fun filled stay!

As a special offer to all of our campers, an entrance pass to the Farm Park can be purchased at the day rate and then re-used free of charge for the duration of your booking.

Would definitely return but not to “glamp”

"Perfect for two year olds"

A Puillin - Stayed with family, Sep 2018

I came with George my very active two year old. He was entertained for our entire stay, loving all aspects of the campsite, Farm park and nearby pub. A real hit. Thank you.

"'glamping' in one of the Safari tents..."

Plus points • Good location & Easy booking process • Lovely site with friendly site staff • Lots to do for families on site with the farm park next door (this wasn’t really of interest to us though) • Pastries for breakfast are included which I didn’t know about and you are asked your preference on arrival – this was a ‘delight’ moment! Minus points • No windows or any ability to see outside! Really felt claustrophobic to be in the tent. This is the biggest minus point for me • W/site made it look like the safari tents had their own kitchen area but this turned out to be a communal kitchen shared with 6 tents and two shepherds huts • Total lack of your own facilities/comfort within the tent, it was just a large tent with a bed! I would have expected either a TV with DVD player or Ipod doc, fire pit (I’m sure they said it had this on their web info), sofa or chair as a bare minimum you could only sit on the bed. • Too many tents too close together – they aren’t soundproof so you are very subject to your neighbours noise Basically its a nice site but I didn't like the safari tents at all and wouldn't return to them.

It’s ok, the tents are very nice, but..... I felt that they were very expensive, basically it is just a tent and although you have a kitchen attached to the glamping area the cups were stained and apart from a toaster, a kettle and a gas barbecue there were no cooking facilities in the glamping kitchen. No oven or hob and no microwave. The washrooms were lovely, very warm and kept exceptionally clean, but a fair distance from the glamping tents, which is difficult at three o’clock in the morning. It’s a lovely site, just feel that the glamping tents are overpriced. They could also do with a porch or somewhere to put dirty boots etc, you walk straight In To the carpeted tent. And also perhaps a small chest of drawers, there is nowhere to put anything so you are literally living out of you bag if you can’t hang it up on the few coathangers that are there. The staff are lovely, really polite and really friendly and approachable.

It was so nice to be able to take our two pre-schoolers away camping for a few days without having the faff of putting up our own tent. A few things have changed from last year and the introduction of tasty pastries for breakfast was a hit. The toilets and showers continue to be in excellent condition and our tent was beautifully made up before we arrived. The table and chairs outside our tent were a little small and uncomfortable and tricky to eat dinner from but we just used a picnic blanket instead which was fine. To improve further it would be lovely to have some children's play equipment like a slide/swings/etc on the campsite. We would also like to see some solar lighting along the bank between the glamping tents and the rest of the campsite to make it easier to navigate to the toilets at night. We also missed the fairy lights that were around our glamping tent last time. Overall though we had a fab time with our 1 and 4 year old and will definitely be returning next summer.

We had a wonderful time in the glamping pod at Cotswold farm park for 2 nights in August. I would just suggest that the code on the padlock is changed every stay or at least made a bit less obvious than the number of the glamping pod repeated four times! I would also like to suggest that there is hot water in the glamping pod kitchen and possibly also a microwave to at least mirror the facilities of what should be a more basic kitchen for standard campers who pay a lot less. I was also very disappointed to discover that hot breakfast baps were no longer part of the offer for glampers, despite this still being stated on the website. Pastries aren’t exactly a like for like alternative in my opinion. Otherwise a fantastic facility that is clean and well kept benefiting from the superb entertainment on offer at the farm on site.

Generally well satisfied a few niggles that took the edge of the clamping. Tent was poorly lit, and heater to small to be of any effect, sadly we had Some cold wet days and nights, the security once inside at night relied on a hook and eye at the top of the door, which was covered up by the material hung on the inside of the tent, in our case the hook was missing totally, The shared kitchen could have been supplied with a microwave and the addition of a draining board a must, there was also problems with campers using the facility due to the kitchens location on the end of the row perhaps it might have been better situated in the middle of the row or the tents fitted with there own kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and cutlery and crockery with the kitchen left for dinning and washing up facilities, this would then solve the problem with the campers. I felt on arrival the information given was limited on the tent it could have been an advantage if you were escorted to your unit and shown the whereabouts of the power reset button, which tripped if the circuit was overloaded and would have saved having to call the staff out go reset. The camp staff were all very nice and helpful they were often seen around the site checking facilities and ensuring that noise after 10 pm was kept to an acceptable level.

Shower block always clean, more family showers could benefit lots of campers. Glamps were very roomy, very comfortable beds. Lighting was a bit dull although we appreciate this was to reflect the true atmosphere of a Yurt. Only found out how to secure door from inside on 3rd day, it wasn’t obvious. Would have been useful to have been told this on arrival. Some campers were using Glampers kitchen and some of Glampers supplies. Overall very satisfied with the whole set up.
