Covid 19 UPDATE - Currently in Wales we are not able to open any accommodation with shared facilities and have no date as to when this may be allowed.
8 Camping Pods conveniently located on the Bryn Dinas Red Dragon Holidays site just 300 metres from The Watkin Path to the top of Snowdon and 2.5 miles from the pretty mountain village of Beddgelert with shops, restaurants and pubs.
Our Pods have twin beds and sleeps a maximum of 2 people; they are heated and insulated so are toasty warm all year around. We even provide hot water bottles ! Pet friendly so you 4 legged friends can come along too - they are part of the family after all !
The Pods are equipped with electric so you can charge your phones, tablets and camera's - and for those that need it you can plug in your hairdryer or straighteners!!
Tea and coffee making facilities are in the Pod so you can have that all important 'panad' (Welsh for cuppa) in the morning without leaving your bed. An initial supply of tea, coffee and milk is supplied.
A standard pod comes with a fitted sheet, pillow and pillow case so the hardened campers among you can bring your sleeping bags - for those wanting a little more comfort we can provide marshmallow soft feather duvets (non feather available) and a bath towel for a small extra charge (£6 per pod per night).
Bryn Dinas is a great place to be 'off-grid' and leave the cares of the world behind but for those of you that cannot manage that we can provide wifi for a small charge per night.
The bathroom block is within a few metres of the Pods and has 4 self contained bathrooms and an extra toilet.
We have a small communal kitchenette with a microwave, toaster kettle, fridge and freezer - we provide the crockery and cutlery to eat with however you will need to bring any cooking equipment, pots, pans and utensils with you.
For those wanting to eat out we have the fabulous Caffi Gwynant just 300 metres away, serving a 'full Welsh' brunch and afternoon tea - closed Monday and Tuesday.
It does rain in Wales, not all the time, but in case its during your stay we do have an indoor Community Room with a further microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and an indoor place to eat. It also has handy maps, books and board games.
Easy access to mountains, beaches, all Zip World sites and of course Snowdon makes Bryn Dinas a great place to stay.
