Woodman's Huts

Our largest hut sleeps 4 (1 x double bed and bunk beds). The accommodation is en-suite with a fully functioning kitchen. The finish is exquisite and the hut is luxuriously and tastefully appointed for a comfortable stay. All linen and towels are provided along with a few basic essentials (milk, tea, coffee, condiments.) The huts are self-catering either in the individual huts themselves, which have stoves, fridge and microwave in addition to shared use of our communal 'artic-hut' with its open bbq which can be used to cook your catch on! We are minutes away from Lake Windermere, Grizedale Forest and easily accessible so that any of the Lake District's activities are within a short drive. Within walking distance is the Lakeside-Haverthwaite Steam Railway with regular connecting trains to Windermere Lake Cruises up to Bowness or Ambleside and connecting public transport. We have a lovely village pub 1 mile away in Bouth (The White Hart), which is easily walkable. On our doorstep is the forested walk network of Haverthwaite Heights, with its brisk ascent yielding stunning views of the Furness peninsula, Morecambe Bay and Rusland Valley.

We can accommodate up to 6 people in both huts so your group can be catered for or you can enjoy the huts on an individual basis. We look forward to welcoming you for a relaxing and enjoyable stay with us!
