I stayed in a pod with my husband and 7 year old daughter. The pod was an awesome experience. Warm and cosy. The camp is very picturesque with the old ruined Abbey in the grounds although you do have to pay a small price for entry. There are no play areas for kids that I was aware of, only 1 tree swing. The whole experience of glamping at Abbey farm was a very enjoyable one, we're definitely booking again and bringing friends.

I'm reluctant to write this review because Abbey Farm is such a wonderful campsite in such beautiful surroundings and is completely unspoilt. It was our second visit with many more to come. The pods are perfect and are situated in a beautiful location by a stream in the mountains. It is so peaceful and quiet there. It is great value for money and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The bistro does a fabulous breakfast too.

The views were amazing, so picturesque that the pics on its site do not do it justice. We stayed in the pods which were clean, warm cosy, and close enough to the showers and toilets making it quite convenient. The pods were opposite a little stream that the kids had endless fun in,either paddling or skimming the water with peoples. There was also a tree swing to which there was always a small queue waiting to have a go! Of a night it was quiet enough to sleep as there was no loud parties there, mostly families. I would recommend staying here to anybody we had a great time.

"Site and Facilties"

Miss C Lam - Stayed with family, Aug 2018

Excellent location for camping... just minutes drive from Horseshoe falls and LLangollen town centre. Facilities on site very basic, however, my family and I love that about the site... Camping on a field, with a stream to play in with beautiful surroundings.

"First trip to Abbey Farm"

Ms S Pemberton - Stayed with family, Aug 2018

Wash facilities never seemed to be clean despite the frequent trips by staff...think you just need more of them. Onsite bistro was great 😁

We stayed in one of the standard pods and have to say we were very pleased with the quality of the accommodation. The shower block suffered from low pressure and the water was cold on the first morning but that was resolved by the afternoon. The bathing facilities would be considered as adequate for a campsite but were clean. Sadly we didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast but the bistro looked clean and inviting. Overall we were very happy with Abbey Farm and would recommend it to anyone looking for a campsite.

"Lovely stay but ruined by local drunk"

Mr G McDonnell Cushen - Stayed with partner, Mar 2018

The park and surroundings are lovely but our stay was ruined by a local drunk in the site bar verbally abusing me for no reason whatsoever but to look big in front of his friends

"Abbey farm pod"

Mrs H Kaira - Stayed with family, Oct 2017

Absolutely gorgeous here - amazing location and setting. It was freezing when we stayed but the little heater warmed up the pod very well. Staff were very helpful, approachable and friendly. My kids loved their stay at Abbey farm!
