Had booked a camping pod but our weekend’s kayaking was cancelled due to a storm in the area. Great to use the warm pod rather than camp as still frosty at night. The warm showers and hot food on site made the trip!

"Happy camper"

Mr A Chorley - Stayed with family, Feb 2019

Love this place, staff are friendly and polite and are always willing to help with anything, I've stayed at this site quite a few times now, usually in a tent but this time stayed in a pod which I would recommend to anyone who wants to try something a little different

The next time we stay we will try the other types of pod's on site, we looked over the caravans too. Lovely meals in the on site Pub/Restaurant complements to the chef, very good service and all staff are very friendly. We meet the owner John who was very welcoming to all. we met a few of the caravan residents and had a really good time with them, very good company and very chilled out. Would recommend everyone to have at least a weekend stay here. Regards, Tony

We all paid the same price but the pod we had was noticeably smaller in length and height and had no external or internal lighting whereas our friends all did. A plug-in lamp was supplied by the site. Bistro on sight was good value for money. Toilets were warm and clean. If you stay, be aware that pod 5 is suitable for hobbits, elves, small children and those with night vision

I stayed in a pod with my husband and 7 year old daughter. The pod was an awesome experience. Warm and cosy. The camp is very picturesque with the old ruined Abbey in the grounds although you do have to pay a small price for entry. There are no play areas for kids that I was aware of, only 1 tree swing. The whole experience of glamping at Abbey farm was a very enjoyable one, we're definitely booking again and bringing friends.

I'm reluctant to write this review because Abbey Farm is such a wonderful campsite in such beautiful surroundings and is completely unspoilt. It was our second visit with many more to come. The pods are perfect and are situated in a beautiful location by a stream in the mountains. It is so peaceful and quiet there. It is great value for money and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The bistro does a fabulous breakfast too.

The views were amazing, so picturesque that the pics on its site do not do it justice. We stayed in the pods which were clean, warm cosy, and close enough to the showers and toilets making it quite convenient. The pods were opposite a little stream that the kids had endless fun in,either paddling or skimming the water with peoples. There was also a tree swing to which there was always a small queue waiting to have a go! Of a night it was quiet enough to sleep as there was no loud parties there, mostly families. I would recommend staying here to anybody we had a great time.
