"Fantastic as always! Never disappointed!"

On this occasion we stayed for a long weekend in a Pod- The facilities were excellent for the value cost! It can't be beat! We have always loved Abbey farm for it's beautiful setting and authentic rustic charm, whether we visit as a couple or as a family we are never disappointed. The owner John, his family and all the staff are so friendly and welcoming and always go out their way to help with anything! The site is constantly improving, little changes can be seen every time we visit, which shows they clearly take note of feedback. I couldn't recommend it more! We always come home looking forward to the next time we can go back!

"Getting back to nature"

Miss P Peers - Stayed with friends, Oct 2018

Such a lovely place, views amazing, pods are clean and ideal, general bins and toilet bins needed emptying, but that was the only negative thing, staff are very friendly, this was my second time and I will be returning.

"Great place to stay"

Mr D Ellis - Stayed with friends, Oct 2018

Very happy with my stay at Abbey Farm. Staff very friendly and helpful and the Pod was perfect. Extremely good value for money with the only improvement which would be to the mens shower block as showers would only stay on if holding down the button. Showers were hot and powerful though so still able to enjoy it. Thank you for a great stay.

"Short stay in a pod"

We always enjoy our time here and compared to place we have amped previously, the facilities are good. Two recommendations however, 1. The showers and the time they stay on for are a regular source of frustration and hot water does not appear to be plentiful. 2. The kids play facilities by the reception/bistro are woefully poor.

"Great weekend at the Abby"

Mr I Taylor - Stayed with family, Aug 2018

First time at the campsite and Llangollen . We all liked it a lot . Staff were great. No issues . Booking was easy, Llangollen and the surrounding area fabulous . All that needs to happen is to have new Shower blocks which are a bit tired and you've got !

The toilets did seem to get blocked though, especially those where the camping pods were. Both times I took my son to them they were clogged up. This wasn’t too much of an issue for us as there was another block of toilets behind it. Would still definitely return though.

"Peace and quiet in a beautiful setting"

Miss C Richards - Stayed with family, Jun 2018

2 nights away in a pod to relax and recharge the batteries. Excellent midweek deals during term time. Peaceful and quiet. Just what we wanted. Toilet/Shower block basic but clean and tidy with hair dryers. We’ve also been during school holidays and it is ideal for kids... 2 nights away in a pod to relax and recharge the batteries. Excellent midweek deals during term time. Peaceful and quiet. Just what we wanted. Toilet/Shower block basic but clean and tidy with hair dryers. We’ve also been during school holidays and it is ideal for kids with the stream to play in and plenty of room to play on the field. Kept them busy for hours building dams and water fights with the other kids. We love this place!

"Good stay"

Mrs K Beesley - Stayed with friends, May 2018

A very enjoyable stay. But toilet/ wash facilities desperately need updating and kept clean. Door on pod was also awkward. It needed a handle. The surroundings were lovely and we had lots of fun in the river.
