Have been here many times and it has improved over recent years, the toilets/showers can be hit and miss but on the whole are pretty good. Camping can be noisy late at night and so the security after 11pm for “noisy neighbours” is not always followed through. The site bar and restaurant are very good. There is a very pleasant walk by the canal side that leads from the beautiful Chainbridge hotel to Llangollen (1.5 miles ish). The steam train also provides a wonderful alternative during the day. On the whole the site is very good. Well be back

"Value stay"

Miss M Owen - Stayed with friends, Aug 2019

Nice clean camping pod offering good value for money, however toilet facilities were dirty with 2 out of 3 toilets blocked from 10pm and these were not cleaned , at 11am when we checked out they still hasn’t been cleaned . Which was disappointing !

"Needs a refurbishment!"

Mrs H Twigger - Stayed with friends, Jul 2019

Could be a lovely campsite but the toilets and showers let it down! Only cleaned once a day and definitely need upgrading!! Our Pod was great and quiet although a car was parked in our space for the duration of our stay!

We stayed for a long weekend with family and friends in the camping pods. The pods are excellent and the large, mega and deluxe gave the group the size and price options that we had found difficult to find on other sites. The pod location next to the river is ideal for kids to play in a s safely fenced off. There are lots of good local attractions and places of interest. Would definitely return.

Mr P Roper - Stayed with family, May 2019

Great camp site, stayed a few times now, this time stayed in a POD, which was fantastic, although next time would like to try the luxury one, camp site is clean well looked after, staff are friendly and there to help, even opened the shop to serve myself after closing... We would like to be made aware of any special deals coming up as we would like to bring some friends along, keep up the good work Abby Farm

"Lovely weekend in a Camping Pod"

Mrs K Shuttleworth - Stayed with family, May 2019

Thank you for a lovely first weekend camping with our two children. Camping Pod very clean and close to toilet block. We ate three meals at the on-site Bistro and were very impressed with quality and price of meals. Our only disappointment was the lack of recycling facilities on site - all rubbish went in a giant skip.

"Outstanding campsite for Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Award Expeditions"

S Parker - Stayed May 2019

An excellent campsite for my large group (55 pupils) who were understanding their Practice Expedition. The large field was perfect for the pupils allowing them space to camp away from friends but close enough for us to keep an eye on them. The toilet and wash up... "So picturesque"

We've been before and really enjoyed the pod experience, the farm, the Abbey and the surrounding countryside and Llangollen itself. So much so that we brought our friends this time. We had descent weather but if its raining, there's nothing to do. Farm staff were lovely, as we're the bistro staff, even catering for my gluten allergy. My 8 year old daughter loves it here, as do me and my husband. Would recommend to anyone.
