New glamping site located at the foot of the Mourne Mountains has opened in Northern Ireland.

Wed 18 July, 2018

Our collection of glampsites in Northern Ireland has grown this week with the completion of a new glamping site in Northern Ireland that offers the chance to experience the beautiful Mourne Mountains up close. Carrick Little Glamping opened two brand new luxury glamping pods earlier this month and welcomed their first guests into the new glamping accommodation on the 11th July 2018.

Being located in the heart of the Mourne Mountains with stunning views are fabulous walks right on your doorstep leading to the Blue Lough, Ben Crom Dam, Cove Cave (but to name a few). The glamping site in Northern Ireland is also a short drive from the Silent Valley Reservoir and is conveniently located in between the seaside town of Newcastle and the fishing town of Kilkeel.

The two premier pods are 5m x 3m and come equipped with a sink, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and heater. Each glamping pod has two sofa beds that can sleep up to four adults (bedding not included) and an en-suite bathroom with toilet and wash hand basin; one of the pods also has its own shower. Crockery and cutlery is included and each glamping pod has its own patio area with a picnic table, chairs and a fire pit, where you can dine al-fresco and relax while taking in the stunning views. There is also free private car parking on site.

One minute walk from the pods you will find the delightful Carrick Cottage Café where you can enjoy a hearty (or healthy) breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea.

Prices for the glamping pods start from £80 per night. To find out more about stays at Carrick Little Glamping, as well as further rates and availability, view their listing here
